MEET THE FOUNDER
Gerard Mohamed is a father of 2 high-achieving daughters (one being a Marketing Manager and the other a Medical Doctor) who are in their late twenties. His success-oriented approach towards life is underscored by the following attributes:
- Cape Town, South Africa born and bred and with extensive international traveling, having visited all the major continents in the world as a marine engineering officer on large foreign-going vessels in the merchant navy.
- Seasoned business management strategist, coach, and mentor with high level exposure as a senior manager within the marine and petrochemical industries.
- Highly successful history of working with community based and non-governmental organisations in a voluntary capacity.
- Passionate about efficient personal management processes in order to maximise on available opportunities, and achieving success despite odds stacked against you.
- Meticulous researcher, analyst, strategic thinker, avid reader, prolific business writer and facilitator.
- Adopts a highly proactive approach towards innovative yet practical solutions when it comes to empowering yourself, your children and your community.
- Notable achievements amongst many others, includes voluntarily partnering with a primary school principal in the impoverished area of Elsies River in Cape Town, characterised by single parenthood and absentee fathers. This involvement was duly acknowledged in the book “Partners For Possibility” in which he features.
- Qualified as a Marine Engineer and also holds BCom (Hons) and MBA degrees. Has full accreditation from the South African Sector Education Training Authority (SETA) as Facilitator and Assessor for learning programs that include Business Administration, Generic Management, Marketing Management, Project Management and Organizational Change Management.
Of concern however, is his status as the most underpaid gardener in South Africa, as he does all the lawn-mowing at home with no remuneration whatsoever. His wife Jennifer is a Montessori School Head Directress, but she pleads poverty and insists that lawn-mowing is good exercise for both the body and mind.
